Update on . . . A Prayer Request . . .

I have a special prayer request today.  I've always thought that this was the most horrible time of year to have something tragic happen in your family. . . and it has happened in ours. My daughter-in-laws brother was fishing with a friend, when the boat they were in capsized.  Both men were thrown from the boat, his friend made it to shore...Bryce did not.  Search and Rescue, and Bryce's family and friends have been searching for him for two days with no success.  It has been extremely cold and foggy on the river, making it very dangerous for the rescuers, so search efforts have been delayed each morning and stopped early each evening because it's just too dangerous. So, I am asking you to pray for their family.  Pray that the recovery will be quick, so that they can find closure and peace.

Bryce was more than a brother-in-law to my son, he was his brother, so this has been very hard on him and his sweet wife.   Bryce and his family are very dear to us, and it truly feels like my heart is breaking tonight.

There is so much strength and power in prayer, and this little family needs all they can get.  Thank you so much sweet friends.

Hugs and Love,
Barb

They found him....

Thank you for your prayers.

Hugs and Love,
Barb

Dearest Barb,
I am so very sorry.
Please know I will offer this intention for Bryce as well as for all those who love him during my rosary tonight.
I wish I could hug you now.
Prayers, my friend.

Barb....Prayer is the best place to begin. We have been on the receiving end of a community prayer and there is definitely power in many prayers on someone's behalf. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Take care, my friend - Marsha

To my cherished friend, we have been so sad about this. We have shed tears and prayers have been sent for this dear family. Our hearts are breaking for them. I hope they find him soon so that they can have closure. We love your family so much; part of them are ours too. Just know how much we love and are praying for you all.
Big hugs!

I'm so sorry. I really don't know what else to say. (Back in the 70's, my mother lost her father the first week of December, so I know what you mean about when something tragic happens at Christmastime).

(((HUGS))) to you and your family.
