Merry Christmas . . .

Christmas day is almost here, the gifts have been wrapped, the menu planned and the house cleaned.  We will gather together, eat to much and stay up too late.  And then, as quickly as it started, it will be all over, time to start cleaning up, to take down the tree, gather up all the shiny paper and ribbons, boxes, and gift bags, and store them away for another year - because it's all over . . . or is it?  Of course not!  We should keep the gift of Christmas in our hearts all year long.  Treasure the memories that have been added to the richness of the old, and above all, be thankful for the gift.  On December 25th, we celebrate the coming of Christ to his earthly kingdom, and the beginning of our salvation!  Again, as it happens every year, the gift will be given!

This Christmas, may you experience the peace that passes all understanding, the joy that no human can take away, the love that only God can show you, and the assurance that you're at the right place at the right time.

Merry Christmas!

Warm Christmas hugs,

Barb,

Don't we all stay up too late and eat too much?!!

We have "simplified" our Christmas moreso this year and I feel as if the spirit of Christmas is brighter. Less clutter and more room for the Christ child.

Merry Christmas, Dear Barb.

Beautiful thoughts, Barb. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we all would keep Christmas in our hearts all year? The world would be a much better place if we would. We have tried hard this Christmas to focus on Jesus Christ, his life, and how we can honor him. Nola
