Hello! Well, it's been a week since we returned from the last camping trip of the season. Can I just say that it's been a whirlwind ever since.
We have been working on the basement laundry/storage room, and I think we're finally... almost done! And it feels so good! We weren't quite finished putting in all the shelves and moving everything in in this photo, and the table was for sorting, so it is gone now. We still have a little more work to do, but just getting the floors painted and moving and cleaning everything back into this room was a huge job. I still have rugs to put down and some other minor things to do, but it's... Almost done ;0)
Our camping trip was wonderful. We enjoyed the warm temperatures, it was just beautiful! We were able to get television reception so we were able to watch, General Conference. It's two days of uplifting encouragement from religious leaders in my church. It was wonderful to watch it in this beautiful setting. I know, it looks very dreary and dry, and it was, but it was also very beautiful.
The first night there my daughter and I went for a walk, and I'm glad we did, because it was such a gorgeous evening!

Cute little mutt, she has the looks that just beg to wear a Halloween costume or Christmas elf suit. Beautiful area for walking, and by the looks of the stream, fishing too. Looks a bit desolate though, hope you were packing heat just in case.
Good morning Barb. Your camping trip looks so relaxing handful of fun. The pictures of this trip are amazing...with the beautiful scenery, the golden hues of the trees and those gorgeous mountains. Hopefully you all were able to see the Northern Lights...some of us here in Texas were able to see them one night this past week. I would love to have a nice size basement like yours. In our area, no one has basements..imagine that. Your's looks so organized. I know you all missed the late night fires, but I can see that the boys had a lot of fun building the rock towers. Send some of those cooler temps my way this next week. Warm hugs to you.
Beautiful photos of your area!
Hello, lovely friend! My goodness, those photos are beautiful! Stunning! Love your clean little pup. I do the same with our dogs after a bath. Love wrapping them up! Have a nice Sunday afternoon. I hope you get some cooler weather soon!
Hello! I'm Laura of Harvest Lane Cottage. I found you through a follower's link. What a beautiful place to camp. The glory of the LORD was shining brightly. Those towers will be a thrill for the next campers. Brilliant idea. Your little dog is very cute. I hope you enjoy autumn!
Hi Barb! What a lovely fall camping trip! Your basement looks so neat and organized! Wow, I am a little jealous! Wish our basement looked like that. We just got back from a little getaway up to your area, and we stopped at Cox Honey to get some more yummy things! We fell in love with Cox Honey from the lovely gift you gave me last summer. We went to Yellowstone, then over to Craters of the Moon National Monument. Idaho is such a beautiful state! Beautiful photos and a great post. It is always nice to hear what you have been up to!
Beautiful pictures.
Beautiful views from your fall camping trip. And your basement room looks bright and well organized.
Hello :) I just found your blog, by way of another blogging friend. I'm admiring your basement and the room to organize. I would love stocking those shelves! Your camping trip looks fun and the rock towers will be a great surprise for the next family to come along. I hope you don't mind a new follower :)
Oh Indy does look like she like camping - and, yes, she is getting big!! Do you think she is full grown?? So glad you got in one last camping trip. So pretty...looks like a perfect camping weekend! Great memories, I am sure!
Such a beautiful way to go on holiday!
Congrats on almost finishing up your basement laundry area! We just barely finished our cabinet refinishing project, so I know how good it feels to end a time-consuming project!
