Welcome November!!

Well, here we are...can you believe it's November?!  I love everything about November.  I especially love that it is a month that makes me remember to be thankful for all of the blessings that I am so graciously given each day.  Maybe I should start by telling you what I am grateful for . . .

I am so grateful for my husband.  The other day I was watching a YT video, you can find it HERE.  I love watching, Dewayne.  In this video he just tells it like it is, and I like that.  Maybe I have mentioned in other posts that my husband is a cowboy?  He was practically born on a horse, was raised on a ranch and farm, started breaking horses when he was 8 years old, and finally quit when he just didn't have time anymore.  He rode bareback in rodeos, lived in a sheep camp with his brother for a summer when he was 10 and his brother was 12.  Their job was to ride every day, all day long, to check on the cattle and make sure that the fence was ok.  They would also doctor any of the cattle that might have a problem.  When we were dating, we used to  drive through town with, Okie from Muskogee playing full blast in the 8 track player . . . I could go on and on, but you get the point, right?.  In this video, Dewayne talks about what you have to do to be a proper man.  Dewayne described my husband to a "T"!  Watch this video and you will know who my husband is...I promise.  You will understand why I love him.

I'm also very grateful for my family, big and small.  Here are just a few photos of my grands on Halloween, yes they are cute.

This is, Tanner and his brother, Nathan.  This year Tanner dressed up like Harry Potter.  I thought the resemblance was amazing!  He actually has very blonde hair, his mom sprayed it dark to get the look.  Nathan is a hunter...really, he is a hunter, so he decided to dress up as himself.  ;0)

This is Averi, She was a witch for Halloween.  She won, Best Costume for 2022 at her school.  Isn't she the cutest witch?!  I think the butterfly wings just make her costume!

This is Clara and her mom, Diana . . . They are witches as well.  I think Diana might be dressed up like, Bewitched.  Clara really wanted to wear her dinosaur costume, but it was too big to fit through the school doors!   I think she's a cute witch!

Tanner also had a birthday on the 29th.  He is an amazing boy and we love him very much.  He is loving, giving, smart, loves hugs, and makes his grandma and grandpa very proud of him.  He is my youngest grand, so, yes, we spoil him ;0)

I also have a birthday this month!  I am grateful that I made another trip around the sun!  Birthdays don't bother me at all, in fact I'm very grateful for them.  Each day when I wake up, I'm grateful I did.

And of course, I'm grateful for sunsets . . .

Happy November - Be safe XOXO

Hugs and Love,

Barb

Happy November, Barb!
Great pics of your very cute grands. I too, think Averi’s wings are fab! I remember well that song, “Okie from Muskogee” and singing it as we rode along in the car when I was very young. I’m glad you have such a good man for a husband. We need as many of these as we can get for they are the type that built and continue to build our nation. God bless him and God Bless you too.

Happy Birthday month, my lovely friend! I love the photos of your grandchildren! Harry Potter is a favorite here, and he looked exactly like him! Hugs from Pennsylvania!

Oh, he DOES look like Harry Potter! Lovely photos. There is no time like autumn though I have decided to love all the seasons. I also raised horses and did some gymkhana when I was still in Utah. I was secretary of the Utah Gymkhana and did some barrel racing. Now, my daughter and granddaughter are into it as well.
Happy November!

Happy birthday Tanner! What great costumes your grands had...they look great and it looks like everyone had fun! WOW - your husband/cowboy really has quite the story to tell. So many experiences! I'm curious...do you ride horses as well? Do you enjoy horses? I think they are gorgeous - out in a field! Up close..I am quite intimidated by them. I would LOVE to enjoy them and imagine riding a beautiful horse would be wonderful but am also sure I would best admire a horse from the ground!!:)

The last trip of the season . . .

Hello!  Well, it's been a week since we returned from the last camping trip of the season.  Can I just say that it's been a whirlw...
