Fall Fire . . .

It's been a long week, with a few lonely moments, a few tears, a few good memories and long talks with my little sis.  But, it's also been a week with beautiful sunsets...and tender mercies!

My granddaughter, Taylor and her mother were at our house tonight as the sun was setting.  It was just gorgeous!  Taylor told me to come look out the back window, and truly, the yard was just bathed in golden sunlight...it was beautiful!!

The trees look like they are on fire!

And really, the picture does not even due this gorgeous golden light justice!

The colors were just amazing!

Someone knew just what I needed to make me smile... ;0)

Be safe, sweet friends~

Hugs and Love,
Barb

What a blessing that beautiful scene was! It will be a part of your memory forever. Today I received a note from my sister that said “Happy Birthday to Mom.” We remember...she was a bit quicker on the message than I this year. Much comfort to you...remember tears are healing.

Oh Barb you have been through so much and I 'm so sorry. Your pictures are absolutely incredible and when I first saw your post I actually though you guys were dealing with another fire but then quickly realized how stunning those trees are. I truly believe the beauty of the sky is a message to you and your family of that everything is just fine and is meant to give you comfort and peace as well as a smile. It actually gives me goosebumps.
Hugs to you!!

At first glance it looks like fire and I am happy it is just the trees glowing in their autumn garb.
