The good stuff . . .

Well, winter finally came to Idaho!  Over the week-end we got about 6 inches of snow, and that's more than we have had all winter.  I don't like the slick roads and the cold that comes with it, but, we really needed the moisture.  The mountains have snow, and the reservoirs are full, but we needed snow in the valley as well.

Mother Nature is giving us some really gorgeous sunsets these days,  I try to get outside to take photos of them every night, but sometimes, it's just to dang cold, then I always regret it!

Last week I looked out the window,  because the dog was carrying on, and low and behold, he had a poor little cat, stuck up in a tree!  The cat wasn't there very long, cats are agile and brave, he was out of that tree in no time.  And if truth be told, Cole was more afraid of that cat than the cat was of Cole...he's a big chicken when it comes to cats!

So in March, 6 of our 10 grands have birthdays...lots of cake and ice cream, we love it.  We just celebrated Nathan's 7th birthday, and I think that Tanner, who is 4 was struggling just a bit, what do you think?  He's only 4 years old and he was trying so hard to be a big boy when Nathan was opening his gifts.. :0)

We  had cake...it was delicious!

Nathan blew out all the candles...with a little help from a friend...Tanner.  It was such a fun night, and I can hardly believe that Nathan, our cute little clone of his grandpa,  is 7 years old!  He's cute, he's kind, he's smart, he's lovable, he's a good brother...and did I tell you he's cute?!  Oh my goodness, we love this little man so much!

Tanner made it through the night with no tears, only smiles... :0)

I just have to tell you that this is the same little 4 year old boy that asked us, very seriously, if we knew about the little fat baby that flew around in the sky, with a bow and arrow...in his underpants.  Yes, he's REALLY cute.

Have a great week and be safe...XOXOX!

Hugs and Love,

Barb

Wow! That’s a lot of birthdays in a month. 🎈Hope that you get some gentle rain the next time moisture is needed. I am sick of snow, but better adjust my attitude. Precious family you have and I thought Nathan’s description of Cupid spot on!

Beautiful snow scenes and sunsets! I love sunsets but have been lax in snapping them lately. March is a good month for birthdays! I say that because I have one next week. How do they roll around so fast? :) Your grands are all so cute and I love how Nathan described Cupid. lol! Have a good week, sweet friend! xx Cheryl

You always take beautiful photos of the sunset and nature, I enjoy seeing them :-) Wow! That's a lot of birthdays in one month! Enjoy :-) We've had some Spring temperatures here, but today it was rainy and in the 40's! At least we are avoiding snow so I'm happy about that, lol. Have a great week.

Blessings,
Jill

Your sunsets are so beautiful Barb. Thank you so much for sharing them! Woohoo you finally got winter! Now Spring is in the offing. The best kind of Winter, short. lol Your grandsons are so handsome, and that little cutie pie. I can tell from the photos, he was just itching to be involved. My oldest grandchild turns 12 today. Todd says it seems that there is always a birthday going on, and I guess he is right. With all the children and grandchildren, in laws, etc. there IS always a birthday going on! Our Mitzi is the same about cats. She barks like crazy, but only gets brave if we are with her. She is a big chicken! Love you sweet friend and these pieces of your heart you share so generously with us! xoxo

Happy Birthday to all your babies. They are all so very cute! Nothing wrong with some good ol' cake and ice cream several times a month! Yum! I love seeing the snow pictures...and the sunset pictures. Oh my.....God sure can paint a gorgeous canvas. I love seeing the snow clinging to the branches of trees...and that poor kitty was certainly clinging to the branches as well. I do hope it got down safely. Spring is popping up around here. Daffodils are blooming and the trees are budding out...however, it's still pretty cool right now. Hope the rest of your week is awesome! hugs

We were at least blesed with 5 inches of snow. We really need the moisture here. Your photos are spectacular and they are in my saved file for future use. That poor cat in the tree is up there pretty high in the tree; great shot. You are a very good photographer. I think that Nathan and Tanner are so adorable and you got some very cute photos of these precious grandson's of yours.
I just had a great RS visit with a sister in another ward. Her name is Brenda Empey. She is from Idaho Falls and the families are mainly from Ammon. Her Dad's name is Harry. He had daughters and one son. The son died so he doesn't have anyone to carry on his name. Brenda is an old maid. Her grandfather's name is Lewis Shadrack Empey. Is there a connection with Bob. We had such a delightful conversation. Maybe with her connection it goes back to our connections. It's all fun. We must have a visit on how we are connected to both sides.
Love you much dear cousin! You are the best. Sending lot of hugs your way~
