A Very Merry Christmas!

I love Christmas Eve, that's when our family gets together.  We have fun, play hard, and enjoy each other's company.  This year was no exception, and as my grands get older, the fun seems to get a little more exciting!

We had fresh snow for Christmas, so of course, everyone had to go play in it . . .

We had fun decorating cookies for Santa . . .

Some had wayyyy more fun than others . . . just sayin' . . .

Yum!  I'm sure Santa loved them!

I just couldn't resist this cute face, looking so squeezable and cute in his red sweater . . . oh my we love this boy!

Tanner had so fun with this doll . . . it was adorable . . .

Everyone snuggled with, Taylor Jo, they all love her . . .

we opened gifts . . . Averi got a talking calculator, she loves anything with numbers!!

Brody can't resist a good book, started reading it before he even went home!

With, Christian, on his guitar, and Brody, playing the violin, they played, "We Wish You a Merry Christmas", and we all sang along.  Then Emily and Caleb played us a song on the piano, it was beautiful.
Then, Joyfully, with all the wiggles and giggles out, everyone went home to wait for, Santa!

When my husband and collapsed, went to bed, Clara had taken a few little stuffed bears  and one plastic giraffe, and tucked them in sweetly, under the afghan on my hope-chest at the end of the bed . . . it was the perfect ending, to a perfect day.

Of course, none of us forgot the true meaning of Christmas, we ever give thanks to Heavenly Father for the sweet gift of the Savior.  Again, as happens every year, the gift has been given.

I hope every one had a joyful Christmas!

Hugs,

We've had a lot of snow here as well, and it was fun seeing the pictures of your Grands enjoying winter time.
As for me... I stay snuggled next to the fireplace~**giggle**; that's my wintertime activity.

Wishing you all a very Happy New Years, my friend.
