Finally arrived . . .

Well, we finally made it to Bryce Canyon National Park!  It was beautiful, and the weather was even a little warmer!  Bryce Canyon is just beautiful,  you really have an eagle's eye view, as the road that goes through the park is at the top, not the bottom, so you are literally eye level with many of the rock formations!  All of these formations were just so majestic and awe-inspiring that it just took my breath away!

When I was there, I couldn't  help but think of the words to one of my favorite songs, "How Great Thou Art".

When through the woods, and forest glades I wander,
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees.
When I look down, from lofty mountain grandeur
And see the brook, and feel the gentle breeze.

Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

Until next time....

Hugs,

Amazingly beautiful with the colors and formations. I see teddy bears, sculpture, and the hand of God.

Hi Barb! I have really enjoyed seeing your photos of this beautiful place. And I think the hymn is very appropriate for such a view.
Have a great week!

Oh, I love your pictures of Bryce canyon and we really enjoyed our time there over our Anniversary week. We actually made up names of the different formations. We thought one of the formations looked like a fort with the soldiers in front. Then another one looked like Lot's wife looking back and being turned to salt. Silly, I know.
Blessings and hugs!

So beautiful! I've never been to Bryce but we have been to Arches, they seem very similar. Such a great place to hike and take in all the beauty.

Hi Barb! I've been away from my blog taking a little break, so I hadn't seen your pictures. Wow, the rock formations and colors are amazing!! You picked the perfect song to describe God's majesty in creation! It's very different from the landscape here in Florida where everything is flat. Thanks for letting me live vicariously through these wonderful pictures! Have a blessed day!

Hey Barb, Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I have been so busy with moving and some medical issues that I have not visited other blogs in waaaaay too long. But I'm here at your place now and my goodness, what GORGEOUS pictures you have posted from your anniversary trip! (Congrats, by the way) We don't have a vacation planned for this summer since moving into a new house is adventure enough! But I feel like I've been on a mini-vacation as a result of reading your last [many] blog posts with all the pictures. Thanks for sharing!
