Mosaic Monday . . . A Summer Afternoon . . .

Summer afternoon—summer afternoon; to me those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English language.

What a perfectly beautiful way to see a summer afternoon. How sweet is the wee one with her hand clasped to her face that way...

Well Barb, I see in your house summer fun and water go hand in hand! We got lots of water yesterday, in the form of a severe thunderstorm - it was pretty scary! I hope you get the rain you need and still get to enjoy your summer! God bless!

Loved the pictures of course; I like that you share them with me because they are my dear grandchildren. Yes, I love the crazy lazy days of summer.
Continue to enjoy the moments with those precious children. However, I get them for the next few days.
Love you much dear sister!
Hugs!!

I stumbled across your blog and I just wanted to say how inspiring you are! I have been through some hard times and seldom am able to see the good in life. You seem so uplifting and positive. I have gone back through and read many of your posts and I am amazed at the time you take for your family. You are so lucky your grandbabes live close, I do not have that privilege. Cherish them, be with them when you can. My daughter and I were very close and she moved over 15 hours away from me, it broke my heart. I only see my grandbabes 1 or 2 times a year, oh how they grow! Again, cherish your babes. Your family is very lucky to have you as a mother and grandmother.

Oh, and Barb your picture on the sidebar is beautiful!! Thank you for the hope and insight you gave me.The Savior knows us doesn't he, he will help us through our trials and rejoice with us when we succeed. Savor the little moments. Thank you Barb!

Dear Anonymous~

So glad you stopped by to say hello, and I'm also glad that you were uplifted by my blog! Life can be hard - and in fact, I have lots of bad days too. Heavenly Father does know us, He loves us, and wants us to be happy! I have found through trial and error, that I am the one who decides whether or not my day, or week or month . . . or life will be good or bad. I choose good!

I love this quote that I got from a dear friend -

"“The happiest people I know are not those who find their golden ticket; they are those who, while in pursuit of worthy goals, discover and treasure the beauty and sweetness of the everyday moments.”
~President Dieter F Uchtdorf

My family does make me happy, and I know that I am very blessed to have them live nearby. Thank you for your encouraging words . . . they made me very happy!! Hugs to you, and stop by anytime!!

Hugs,
Barb
