Thoughts for Thursday . . .

I have been so busy this summer!  The days are getting shorter, the nights are getting colder, and I can't believe how fast summer  is slipping away - so sad, because I feel like it just started!  Some quick thoughts to share . . .

Averi had a birthday - she is getting to be such a big girl!  We treasure every birthday that this sweet girl has - we didn't think she would ever see her 1st birthday, and now she's 9 years old!
waiting very patiently for her gifts!

I finally get to open something!

Averi loves caterpillars and this one is fuzzy and has a light in it, so she can see it!!
Blowing out the candle!  Happy Birthday sweet girl!

Our sweet little babies are growing so fast - here's a little update on both Clara and Nathan!

Clara is such a sweet little girl, with a wonderful, happy disposition!  She is such a joy to us, to her parents and her big brother, we love her!

It' hard to believe that Nathan will be 6 months old soon!  He is such a happy baby - you just can't help but smile when you see him!  He's very pinchable!

Every once in a while I find a sweet surprise on someones blog - look what I found that other day - a picture of me and my sweet "sister"!  LeAnn is actually my daughter's MIL, but she is just like a sister to me!  My daughters and my son have been very blessed with wonderful MIL's!

We have had some fun times at the park!  These are some pictures I took of me and my sisters grandchildren playing at the park!  What a bunch of silly kids!

Kyle, Caleb and Jacob!  These little boys were all born within 2 months of each other, we just call them the "Three Amigos"!

Sydney having fun, and teasing the boys on the slide!

Payton and Emily - two very silly girls!

Nathan making a goofy face!  Doesn't he look like a little old lady?!

Last, but certainly not least, my beautiful daughter is having a birthday tomorrow!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMBER!  What would I do without this beautiful, wonderful child - I love you Amber, hope your day is perfect!

We just got back from a three day camping trip - it was soooo relaxing and fun!  Maybe I will be able to get back on track and keep up with my blog now . . . I hope!  More to come - I took some really pretty pictures, can't wait to share!

Hugs,

I agree that is sad to see summer coming to a close and fall quickly coming. But, it looks like you have had a lot of fun with family this summer. I love the pictures of your family. No wonder you don't have time to blog! Much, much more fun to be doing fun things with them. Love the picture of you and Leanne. So glad you could go camping. There's nothing like being out in the mountains and enjoying nature. Happy Birthday to your sweet daughter,
Amber. Looks like Averi had a wonderful celebration! Nola

Wow, what a fun post. I loved our picture together my sweet sister. You are the best! I love that you had a few days to enjoy a camping trip. We haven't been camping for years and I would love to go camping for a few days. Fresh air, beautiful lake and just enjoying the landscape would be so awesome. I would love to enjoy nature for a few days without any technology.
I loved Averi's birthday pictures. I love that she is eating better. I was talking to Amber the other day and she was eating a peanut butter sandwich; that is a major feat. Your sweet grand babies pictures are priceless and precious.
Where did the summer go; I can't believe we are rolling into fall. However, I must say I will enjoy some cool mornings and evenings to be out on our back porch. We finally got an awning so we can enjoy it more.
I could continue to write a bunch of thoughts; but maybe we should try a phone call soon.
Love you much! Keep on enjoying your precious moments.
