FOR TODAY
Outside my window... Cloudy and a little bit hazy, but very mild - probably about 66 degrees on my outside thermometer right now. We need some warm weather!
I am thinking... Weddings?!
I am thankful for... The Gospel . . . the blessings are amazing, prayers are answered, lives are changed.
From the learning rooms... I'm learning to never try to out-guess myself!
From the kitchen... Beef stew for dinner. Doesn't that sound so good? I think I will just let it simmer all day while I do some housework.
I am wearing... Jeans and a navy blue long sleeved t-shirt . . . no shoes!
I am creating... Well, I just made laundry soap - that's creating!
I am going... To get ready to go camping for a week. I know it is early, but we have a wedding anniversary on the 19th, so my husband is taking the week off, and we are going camping!! I want to go to this really quaint, small, RV park, next to the most beautiful little golf course. I like to golf, but I'm not very good at it, and I'm slow - so this would be perfect!!
I am reading... My scriptures, and, Faith of our Fathers, by N.C. Allen. It's a beautiful story set during the Civil War.
I am hoping... That the weather holds out for next week - I don't want to go camping in the rain! We have an RV, but it's just no fun to be stranded in the rain!
I am hearing... Peaceful music on my computer and a ticking clock.
Around the house... There is so much that needs to be done! I need to change my bed, do laundry, make laundry soap . . . you know, just general cleaning that got neglected over the week-end. We did a lot of yard work, so nothing got accomplished inside!
One of my favorite things... Is waking up to birds singing in the trees! I love to hear the birds, better than any alarm clock!
A few plans for the rest of the week:
Today - Cleaning and puttering, helping with a quilt - maybe, if I find the time!
Tomorrow - An eye appointment at 9:50, then lunch with mom and sis!
Wednesday - I think I will get the trailer ready to go, plan a menu, make sure all my ducks are in a row!
Thursday - My girls are coming to see me!!! We will go to lunch, do a little shopping, play with the kids, just hang out and talk about weddings?
Friday - Getting ready for a week of fun!
