I was going through some more of of my things and found this picture that I drew with charcoal. It was many years ago - hope you like it.
I love American Indian sayings, this is one of my favorites:
We love quiet; we suffer the mouse to play: when the woods are rustled by the wind, we fear not.

Very good, lots of detail. I use to like to sketch when I was younger, but like you I stopped doing it. When my gd's were young we use to go out together to do nature sketching and I thought that was lots of fun. I keep thinking I should try that again. Linda
Barb, this is very good. Like Linda said "lots of detail." Thanks for sharing.
This is beautiful. Is there anything you can't do?
All things Indian is close to my heart. My parents adopted my full blooded Souix Indian sister 45 years ago. She graduated from the Y and served a mission to Brazil. She is so dear to our hearts as is her gorgeous daughters. My family also hosted 5 Indian placement (all girls)students through the church from different reservations for the school year.
I loved the indian saying.:)
