My Vintage Treasures

Kimmie, at -  http://theserendipitycafe.blogspot.com, is doing something so fun - she calls it,  My Vintage Treasures.  Go to Kimmie's Blog to see who is playing, in fact sign up and join in on the fun!  She is posting it every Saturday and we are invited to share our vintage treasures too!  I of course will be a little behind, since Kimmie is on the other side of the planet!  But, I think this is a fun idea - I love to see all the vintage treasures that people collect and love!  Thank you sweet Kimmie!

Years ago, a dear friend gave me this adorable little antique bud vase - I fell in love with her sweet,  angelic face!

I'm not sure where my friend got her, but I would love to know the story behind this sweet angel.  I will always remember the feeling of friendship and love I felt when she was given to me - I will always treasure her!

Hugs and love,

  2. Barb,

Thank you for your encouraging words and hug. I haven't been myself these last few days/weeks. I have felt a burden to write and rather than cloud my little heart and home blog, I started another one to spill out my thoughts on the matter. You are welcome to visit - I closed the comment section on that blog because of the sensitive nature. You are more than welcome to email me about it if you'd like.

  3. Barb I am so THRILLED that you will be joining in the treasure sharing fun each week~! Your blog readers are all MOST welcome to join us~!

I just ADORE your vase and the story behind it. The friendship and love factor makes it all the more special. Is that a butterfly on her hands? At first I thought she had her hands together and lips pursed ready to blow a kiss but then I spied a buterfly?

    Hugs

  4. What a wonderful treasure in more ways than one. I love angels and I'm sure each time you place a flower in the vase your thoughts turn to your angel friend. Love the little butterfly she is holding. Nola

Did you get to go camping? If so, where you plagued by thunderstorms?
