It seems like Mondays just keep coming around and I keep having great plans for the week that somehow get foiled. Not by anything in particular, I just somehow seem to get off track easily! So, my plan is to do whatever I can get done and not worry about the rest - I'm not going to try to live by a schedule! I've tried so many different schedules and plans, they just don't seem to work for me. I think it's a great idea if you are the kind of person who can commit to a schedule, but, alas, I'm not that person (sigh). The more I try to stick to someone else's schedule, the more behind I get. It stresses me out if I don't do everything just the way that
I was telling my daughter just the other night, that I used to be able to get things done so quickly 30 years ago, but now, it takes me longer to do everything! But, it's the way that it is meant to be, that's the joy of getting older, we are able to slow down and take our time at things When my children were young, I was too, I could keep up with them and my housework! But, I am on my own time for now, until my husband retires that is - so, I will try to keep part of my New Year "Reflections" and just do the best I can.
I did manage to make a weekly menu, I will have three of my grandchildren Thursday night to Saturday afternoon, so I have to make things that they like - that's the joy of being a grandma!
