Camping . . .

Hi everyone!  It looks like this is my norm, but, I hope everyone just hangs in there with me until I can figure out how to get back into blogging . . . more than once every two months!

We went camping with my daughter and her husband the week after the 4th of July, and I guess it was just what I needed to get me inspired, it was just so beautiful!

We had no more parked our trailer and set up when another trailer came up the road.  Now, this is the only camping spot on this road, so we were a little worried.  They kept coming, and coming, until there were at least 20 trailers and at least 130 people parked right next to us!  It was a little crazy, but I was just amazed that they were able to get that many family members together for a reunion, and they have been camping in this spot for 22 years!  They actually wanted our spot, but we beat them to it.  The early bird gets the worm!

All we could do was make the best of it . . . they were great neighbors!  This was just a few of the trailers that made their way to the camp.  The more the merrier . . . right?

The sunsets were just amazing!  My granddaughter and I took hundreds of pictures of the sunsets every night.  I can't even tell you how gorgeous they were, the photos don't even do these beautiful sunsets justice!

Besides enjoying the sunsets,  we just visited, swatted at flies and mosquitoes, and ate wonderful food . . . you have to have wonderful food when you go camping, right?

My two sweet girls in the hammock.

The wild flowers were so pretty, and I know they won't last too long with the hot temps here in the Idaho.  Can you tell I love, Lupine!

Almost every tree in this area was just covered with moss!  It was very beautiful, and really fun to take pictures of!

On Saturday, we decided to go for a ride, up along the, Continental Divide, oh my, it was beautiful!

I love these next photos of my grands and their mom and dad . . . love, love them!  My, Cole Dog is in these pictures as well . . . we love him too.

My poor, Cole is getting old, but he loves to go camping!

I almost forgot to add this picture of a few Antelope we saw.  This was the only wildlife that we saw the whole week.  I'm just glad we didn't see a bear . . . we were in bear country, and more than one, Grizzly has been spotted in this area . . . eeeekkkk!

So long until next time . . . which will be in a few weeks!  We are going on our annual camping trip with the whole family!  I better get busy!

XOXO,

Barb

Hi Barb, If I could only describe your camping trip in one word it would be, "perfect'! I can't imagine being in such beautiful surroundings, with my loved ones all around, even though it was a little crowded with neighbors! ~smile~
I have been so lax in my blogging too, and am finding it very hard to get back, I am going to try real hard this time, ~wink~ Hope you do too! Enjoy this special time of memory making,
Blessings, Sue

So beautiful! Those mountains almost look like the Lost River Mountain Range. It looks like a wonderful reunion! I love the sunset photos.

Beautiful country for camping and you took a lot of wonderful photos. I really enjoyed seeing them all. I would not have enjoyed all the extra folks there with me so would have left. Glad that you didn't! ☺

I so loved this one! Your camping trips looks so much fun. I'm sorry there was a crowd; but I can tell you still had a quiet sweet time. I loved all of the photos; in fact, I will probably steal one or two for a graphic. Those sunsets were spectacular.
Of course, you know I loved the photos of our girls and our family. They were so fun!
I loved the scenery, flowers, moss covered trees, sunsets, and antelope.
This was just all so awesome; I wish I was there. Sending loving thoughts and hugs your way to the two of you!
