Hello, It's Me . . .

I can hardly believe that it's been almost 3 months since my last post!  I have been busy, and I have had some health issues that have kept me away from my computer, but hopefully, I will be back in full swing before I know it . . . I'm feeling better as I type!  I will keep the commentary short and sweet because of the overload of photos.

I guess I should start off from where I left off . . . June . . .  camping, we just can't seem to get enough of that at our house.  We had such a fun time, the weather was beautiful, the girls were adorable; kids and dogs always have the best time!

July . . .  Ahh . . . Baseball and fireworks, what more can I say.  It was a fun night, with a beautiful sunset!  I just seems like the all American sport, and perfect for the 4th of July.

August . . .  We always try to have our family camping trip in August, right before school starts.  This year it was so much fun!  It would have been even more fun if my son and his family would have been able to join us . . . but his work load just would not allow his family to be with us this year.

Here we are at our favorite spot!

The boys decided it would be a good idea to clean out the fire-pit.  It has been dry here in Idaho, and the last thing we needed was an out of control fire, so they dug it deep, and we were very careful!  Looks like dad has lots of help.

After all that work, Nathan decided he would try his hand at the hula hoop, and he was really good at it!!  Tanner does not look impressed...

So he gave it a whirl . . . love that mischievous grin, and just adorableness!

One day Jess and her family decided that they would clime a big hill behind our camp.  You can barely see them in the middle, they look very small.

They made it to the top!!

We had to have a camp fire, because after all, we were camping...but we were sooooo careful!  My daughter made a fun little, fire thingy (I don't know what it's called...) with a piece of hose and a copper tube, that you put in the fire what it is burning.  It made the fire look amazing, I wish I could have captured it better, it was so beautiful!

One of the days we were there, we made tie dye t-shirts, even the little boys had fun!  They turned out so cute, and they were really fun and easy to make.

Of course we ate good!  A few of our favorites were, Mountain Dew Chicken, Peach Cobbler, and Sourdough Pancakes, yummo!

I think it's fair to say that nobody went hungry.  One thing we all know how to do is cook!

They skies were just too pretty not get get a few pictures of them.  The lake was also pretty as always. Can you see why we like it here.  Not a lot of trees, but also, not a lot of people.  We are able to enjoy, God's beauty without any hustle and bustle.

A few random pictures . . . Card playing, cute faces, bees, sun catchers, sleeping babies, handsome boys . . .

These are all memories that I have written on my heart . . . these moments will never come again, and they will be grown up and move on way too quickly . . . I hope they remember these fun times that we had, and remember to take me when I am old!

More to come . . .

XOXO,

Barb

Oh, my how I loved this one. I have missed your posts dear friend. Of course, I love them extra because it includes all the lovely photos of our shared precious grandchildren. You got some fantastic photos of them on this one.
I hope you are doing OK; I didn't know you weren't feeling well.
You do know how to make priceless memories and I am so happy that you do so. I really liked your camping trip in June, the baseball games and fireworks in July and the family campling trip. The tie die shirts were so cute, the relaxing looked so good, the hike, and of course, the food.
You do take fantastic photos; that I may borrow. Sending lots of hugs your way and hope you both are doing good.

Finally April~

I know, I'm a little late, but I finally made it! Outside my window ~   I can't even tell you how happy I am that April is here!  ...
