Fun Fall Finds . . .

My Husband and I love to watch different Auctions in our area, and believe it or not, we sometimes get in on some pretty awesome deals!

Last week, I bid on a cute little table at a huge auction!  The table was the perfect shape and size to put at the end of our couch, just right to put a drink or your phone on.  Just so happened that the items that were being auctioned were from Jackson Hole, Wyoming, so I knew they would be beautiful and way out of my budget... ;0)  I asked the lady who does these auctions if the estate was from a movie star's home, because so many live in that area; she said no he's not a movie star, he's the of the owner of the, Oakland A's, who had a home in, Jackson!  I love baseball!

Guess what . . . I won my little table!  It doesn't look like much, but it's perfect for me!

I have also been wanting a bread-maker, but didn't want to pay the price for a good one.  I had one years ago and loved it, but it broke, and we just didn't replace it.  We were watching an auction and found a really nice bread-maker, it was perfect for what I wanted.  I looked it up on Amazon, and to buy it new was $134.00 . . . I got it for $24.  It works like a charm, and all I had to do was wipe it down, because it was already clean as a whistle!

All cleaned up and ready to use!

And for my last find - look what I found!  I was visiting my neighbor last night, and when I left, I looked up at the sky, and truly there was just the most beautiful sunset, and we all know I can't resist and beautiful sunset!  So I hurried and ran walked home as fast as I could, grabbed my camera and snapped a picture!  Perfect way to end the day . . .

Have a marvelous week-end!

Hugs,

Barb, I've never been to an auction like that. You did really well! I had a bread machine years ago and loved it. Such a pretty sunset! Sleep tight!

I love your frugal finds! That auction sounds like such fun! I love stuff like that. I have two bread makers -- one was given to me by a neighbor when she moved and the other I paid $5. Both work great. Sure am glad I didn't pay for a brand new one. I love the sunset picture too. I want you to know that hubby and I have talked about your cabin every single day since we saw the pictures. We are in love (with the cabin)- just don't know if it's a romance we are going to be able to work out. Have a great weekend.

Fun provenance to go with your table. Is it rectangular or the more unique shape it appears to be in the first photo? Yay for a new to you bread machine. Excellent buy! Can't improve on that sunset either!

I use my bread maker almost weekly, if not every other day :) Usually, I just use it to mix the bread, but never the less, I love it.... and it's a Sunbeam too :)

Gorgeous sunset shot!! Lucky you!!

Hope that the rest of your week is lovely.

Hi Barb, you sure found some really great deals. I love using my bread maker. My family's favorite is cinnamon raisin bread. That table is cute, too and I love the picture of the sunset.

Have a fantastic weekend... :)
