Many Moons Ago . . . .

Many moons ago . . . I was a blogger, and I loved it!  I still love to blog, but instead of readers block, I think I have blog fog!  It seems like after a week or more of not blogging, you just lose track, lose interest, or in my case, I just don't know where to start again.

Since my last post, so much has happened!  I'll start with a 4 day road trip we went on for our 40th wedding anniversary, which was delightful!  We started in Twin Falls, Idaho, then went to Salmon, Idaho, and ended up in West Yellowstone, Montana.  It was so much fun, here are a few highlights of that trip.

Beautiful Shoshone Falls, sometimes called the "Niagara of the West".  Shoshone Falls is higher than Niagara Falls.  There's not much water coming over the fall right now, but it's still gorgeous!  During the peak of run-off, these falls are just amazing!

Then on to, Thousand Springs. where you can see "thousands" of beautiful springs just flowing out of the mountainside along the Snake River, it's so pretty!  These two photos are just a few of these gorgeous springs.

Then on to the beautiful Sawtooth Mountains!

Enough for one day - more to come!

Barb......
From one Idahoan to another - Keep blogging! I've followed you for some time and I enjoy your blog. I also love blogging. I don't do it as frequently as I used to but I still really enjoy it. My children love it and they tell me it is my journal and that is basically the reason I started blogging back in 2011. Enjoyed your anniversary, trip photos.

Hi Barb! I enjoyed your beautiful photos. I haven't been to Yellowstone, but I'd love to see it. Maybe one day! Hope you continue blogging, I love the blogging community and you are missed. I don't post but 3 times a week, usually. I sort of do it as a journal and I've already used the blog to look up when we went somewhere, so it comes in handy! Have a great day! Hugs, Cheryl

Barb, simply gorgeous! Is that snow on the mountain tops? I too have had trouble with finding the right words. I'm hoping that starting fresh will get those creative juices flowing. You can find me here at http://by--lantern--light.blogspot.com

Hi Barb!!! So glad to hear from you! I've been away for quite awhile --- thanks for your visit! I see you've been busy with family - grand babies, your momma's birthday, and a beautiful anniversary trip! This is a beautiful place to go! Hope I can make it up that way one of these days. I have always wanted to travel to that part of the country and see the mighty Snake River (that's what my silly husband always call it!)

Happy 40th anniversary! You are still just as beautify as the day that picture was taken - inside and out! I know these things.....

Hopefully it's warming up for you guys, it's certainly been a strange spring here in ole HOT Texas, too. We actually may have set some record low temps this week in certain areas - 40's here this morning! And in May! We had 90's last week!

Take care and I wish you another 40 years of wedded bliss!

So glad you had a great time celebrating your 40th. This is a big one! Such beautiful scenery and I know that this must have been a very relaxing trip for both of you.... I really miss you when you're away from the blogging scene, but I do understand...sometimes, we all need a break...

I always love to see that you have blogged. I love your posts. These pictures are so awesome. I am so happy you were able to take this wonderful trip. Roger and I so need to plan a vacation besides our upcoming reunion. Of course, you know all about that one. I need to see some beautiful scenery like this. Roger is trying to learn how to take really good pictures; so maybe I can get him to take me to some beautiful place. Please keep blogging; I miss you dear friend.
Sending love and hugs your way.

I'll never see it if some dear blogger doesn't show me. I'm living my life vicariously. Takes me about three days not to care about blogging again. After that, it could go either way.

Looks like a fun trip.
My goodness, the story of the earthquake is something else!

I'm trying to catch up with some of the blog posts that I've missed.

I too go through times when I don't feel like blogging at all. Life gets busy.
