One fish, two fish, pink fish, blue fish . . .

Emily and Caleb are on a swim team, they swim like little fish . . . I am so proud of them!!  Emily is 6 and Caleb is 4.  Emily swims better than most adults and Caleb is catching up fast!  Watching them made me remember my days of swimming lessons.  Who cannot remember the smell of chlorine, wrinkled toes and fingers, and how wonderful it felt to jump into the water on a hot summer day . . . good memories!

Emily all dolled-up for her lessons!

Gotta love those black goggles!

Jumping off the high-dive . . . all by herself . . . so brave!

Swimming underwater . . . little fish!

Caleb, getting ready to start  his lessons!

Splashing is very important - can you see his friend sitting right beside him?

Floating around on a giant yellow noodle!

A perfect way to beat the heat on a hot summer day!!

Have a great Saturday!!

Cute grandchildren and I'm so impressed with what they are doing. I love the black goggles! I do remember back to those good old swimming days and how I used to go swimming on my split shifts when I worked at the Homestead. And there really was nothing better than jumping in a cool pool on a hot day. Gee, wish I could do that today. Nola

Oh Barb, they are just gorgeous! So sweet, and swimming so well at such a young age, good for them!

I'm enjoying your piano music by the way. It's very soothing.

Hi Barb,
The kids are so cute and I'm amazed at their swimming abilities at their age! I think all children should know how to swim...good for their parents that are seeing that they are taught.
Hope you are having a good weekend!
Hugs, Cheryl

They certainly look as if they are right at home in the water! Very cute...great captures. (Good thing you mentioned that friend. I thought he might be imaginary at first. ☺ )

Such sweet little fish! I admire their swimming skills. I can not swim at all. Perhaps one day I will learn but not today! :)

Saw your previous post of your camping adventures. Yes, Idaho does have some amazing sunsets and mountains!
