An Update . . .

Just a quick note and a thank you to all those who have kept our family in your prayers and have sent good thoughts in our direction.  My mother-in-law is still with us - I'm not sure how.  I am truly amazed at her, "will to live".   I don't think she afraid to die, but I do think that she is afraid of what she will leave behind  . . . her family.  Sometimes the hardest part about dying, is the effect is has on your family, and I know that this is true for her.

Watching and being with my mother-in-law has truly stirred my soul, stretched my faith, tested my compassion, and allowed me to  re-examine my values.  It has taught me that death, far from being a dreaded thing, can come as a welcome friend,  gently carrying our loved ones to another sphere where life can again be meaningful and fulfilling . . . and I pray that this will come swiftly for my dear mother-in-law.

Warm Hugs,

Hi Barb - sorry to hear about your mother in law. She must be a strong woman. I know that when she's ready, she will let go and let the Lord take her home. That would be my fear - the fear of leaving loved ones behind to mourn. But she will be in much better place - far better than anything we could ever dream of or imagine on this earth! I'm praying that she may relax in the arms of Jesus in His time...

We're all with you. I've had to watch people die and it's not fun. At all.

Hi Barb. Thanks for this update, as we are still praying for her and your family...None of us truly understand death, but what we do understand are the promises. Eternity with our Heavenly Father... We have much to look forward to.
Blessings to you

It's amazing how they can occasionally fake us out. I pray that her special angel comes soon and escorts her to her heavenly home. Go softly, dear lady. Hugz!!

Dear Barb,
This is a difficult time for you and your family, I know. "There is an appointed time" scripture says and her time must be soon. It's all in God's hands and in his perfect timing as you know. It's the waiting and uncertainty that is hard. I'm praying for you and all your family. Take care.
Hugs,
Cheryl

I lost both of my parents three months apart and you learn life is really basic. If you don't have your priorities straight you may live with lots of regret. You are doing one of the most important things in life.
