March Madness!!

Wow, the last few weeks have been crazy . . . in a wonderful way!  I don't think it's going to get much better, as we have three grandson's having birthdays next week on the 15th, 16th and 17th, my mother on the 22nd and another sweet granddaughter on the 30th!  In between all of that, we are having a baby shower for my wonderful daughter-in-law on the 26th!  Life can get crazy!

I just wanted to share a few pictures, and a little update on the newest member of our family!  I spent a few days with Jessica and the kids last week and these are some of the pictures I took.

Our sweet little Nathan - happy, healthy and very loved.  He had a Dr. appointment yesterday, and got a clean bill of health!  He is still on oxygen at night, but doing wonderful!  He is so cute and cuddly - he has lots of grandma's, grandpa's, aunt's, uncle's, two adoring siblings, and a mom and dad who love to dote over him . . . . .  he's a very lucky little boy!

Emily and Caleb - they love to "hold the baby"!

Emily is such a good big sister!
He wasn't crazy about his bath . . . but, isn't he cute?!  He looks so much like his mama when she was a baby!

Life can get crazy for all of us - but let's not get too busy to remember those who have lost so much in Japan and keep them in our prayers.

Have a great Saturday~

Hugs,

So good to see him home and being loved on by his big sister and brother. What a sweet picture! Now if we don't see you for a while, we'll understand. It sounds crazy busy there!

My goodness, a lot has happened since I last 'checked in' with your blog. I have had a wonderful time reading about the births of the babies and breathing a sigh of relief that all is turning out well in spite of the hard times!! (thank You, Lord, for watching over my blogging friend and her children, grandchildren, sister, niece and great niece!). Your pictures are beautiful. Congratulations -- and how incredible that you and your sister get to experience these things together!!!

Opps, that should have read as "Grammy." Not as "Gramny." -giggles- And I don't know what your preferred "name" is, or I'd call you by that. :-)

Glad little Nathan is doing so well. Such a wonderful blessing! Love the pictures of the children. How nice you could spend some time helping and being with your family. I'm sure it was much appreciated. There is nothing like family! It sounds like you have a very busy month. Hopefully, you will find a little time to relax. My prayers certainly go out to the people of Japan. We have family there and are so grateful they are ok. Were far enough inland that they were not affected. Take care and enjoy that new little grandson. Nola

What a beautiful baby...all chubby and cuddly looking. Take a big 'ol sniff of that sweet babyness for me! Makes me want another grand, but I think that ship has sailed. Ours now come without diapers and from across the sea. Love 'em, but still.....sigh....

You are a very blessed woman right now!

I have missed reading your posts. I knew that you would of course be posting sweet pictures of your newest little one. He is so adorable and I wish I was close to give him a little hug. I have been praying for your sweet family and am so happy Nathan is doing well.
We are excited to be coming up to be with you all for Christian's ordination to the priesthood on Sunday. Love and hugs to you! LeAnn

Dear Barb,

Just wanted to let you know that I decided to close my other blog and start fresh on Blogger. Too many "issues" involved with the other one.

Three birthdays this week! That is a lot of birthday fun!

I'm so glad the baby is doing better.

Hi Barb, I've changed my pen name and the format of my blog from Aprons and Apples to Contemplations. Looks like one of your grandchildren shared a birthday with me (Mar. 16). This must be an especially happy and fun time of year for your family with all the special celebrations. I look forward to new posts on your blog once it all settles down. Blessings!
