Lighten Up . . .

One of my new year "reflections" was to be more responsible with my life - so I decided it was time to "lighten up"!  Not literally, although that certainly would not hurt anything, but, what I mean, is to get rid of things that are holding me down, or back, from doing things in my life that I really want to do.   The name of this picture is "lightening the Load",  it will feel good to lighten my load and have my spirit lifted a little.  It's not always material things that keep us grounded, it's sometimes feelings and emotions that keep us from living the best life that we can.  It's sometimes other people, who don't have our best interest in mind.  It could even be that for one reason or another, we keep ourselves grounded, because it is safe on the ground.  Today will be a new beginning for me so - watch out world!   Do you have things that are keeping you grounded ?  If so, come join the journey with me and - lighten up!

Blessings, Barb

I love the lighten up motto. Besides trying to keep up on my ironing all year, I also am going to lighten up and enjoy life much more. We both need to do that, don't we. And you, as always are an inspiration to me. I love you, Karen

I also love the lighten up motto! I have about 30 pounds I'd love to give away and a ouchy tailbone if any one wants one. Both are free! LOL
Thanks for making smile and give me fudder for thought:)

That is one of the things that I have vowed to work on this year. I am tired of people holding me back and I want to break free and just be myself! Love you, Laura

Unfortunately in our lives we sometimes cling to the things that hurt us the most and abandon the things we care for. Getting rid of those things and changing our habits is one of the best ways to get rid of our burdens and help us "lighten up".
