A Snow Globe Day!

It has been a snowy, blustery day  here today - Every time I looked outside, I thought of a snow globe!  Those big fat snow flakes that don't melt right away, they just sit on your hand and sparkle - I love it.  The best part is that it also warmed up, at 2:00 p.m. it was 28 degrees - a heat wave for us!

We went shopping today and finished up what few things we had to do - It's a good feeling to have it all done.  Now it's the anticipation of the "Joy" of Christmas.  The smiles on the children's faces -  for the older kids, well they're just not sure whether or not they should "Believe", (I will always believe).  They want to so bad!  The look of relief on the moms and dads faces when it's all over and the kids are in bed.   I love Christmas.

An update on "White Christmas", it was wonderful - thank you again, Jessica!  This is something that I think we should make an annual Christmas tradition.  The Mystique theater is so beautiful - it's not old, but looks old and glamorous.  They start serving you at 7:00 p.m., on the dot!  The food was very good and the waiters were very prompt and courteous.  We later found out that the waiters are local actors that donate their time.  At 8:00 p.m., the play started and it was so good.  The actors were very talented, had beautiful voices and could dance, I felt like I was watching Dancing with the Stars!  At intermission, they served dessert - pumpkin roll, it was delish!  We were out by 10:00 p.m. and I was tucked in bed by 11:45.  It really made me feel like Christmas!  Can't wait until next year.  Good night everyone - think good thoughts, say your prayers and pull those covers up around your ears!
Blessings, Barb
