Picking out Punkins'.

Caleb found one just the right size!

Yesterday Jessica and I took the kids to the Pumpkin Patch and let them pick out a pumpkin - they had so much fun! There was a little spook path that they walked down with lots of scary things!!!

Emily stirring the witches brew

While Emily was stirring the Witches Brew, she said, "Look, grandma, it's just like the Wizard of Oz!" They had such a fun time! It's the little things that kids will remember - It only cost the price of a fat orange punkin'!

Jess with the kids

While we were wandering around, the song about "Come said the wind to the leaves one day..." kept running through my mind. It was a beautiful, cool, crisp day - the feeling was one that you would love to put in a jar for safe keeping, taking a big "sniff" only when you need a lift. It was a perfect ending to a perfect day!

Come said the wind to the leaves one day, come o’re the meadows and we will play. Put on your dresses of scarlet and gold, for summer is gone and the days grow cold.

Where is that pumpkin patch at? I've always wanted to go to one, and I think Jacob would love it! Jess and her kids are adorable. I love the pictures of them.

Finally April~

I know, I'm a little late, but I finally made it! Outside my window ~   I can't even tell you how happy I am that April is here!  ...
